About Us
The nursery has many facilities including separate play areas for babies, toddlers and pre-school aged children. We provide a high standard of childcare & education, following the national standards set by Ofsted with regards Birth to Three and Foundation Stage Curriculum to help your child develop their skills and learning to their full potential.
The Green Room
Our baby unit, for babies aged 0 months to 2 years, provides an exclusive personal service for your new born with 15 spaces available daily.
The room is full of warm furnishings and home comforts. Whether your baby has fun with the soft play & ball pond or is stimulated by the mirrors and bright toys, we are sure they will enjoy this 1st step into childcare.
The Blue Room
The toddler unit, for children aged 2 to 3 years, has 16 spaces available daily.
The room has more age appropriate toys and equipment which help focus on your young child's development.
The Red Room
The pre-school unit, for children aged 3 and 4 years, has 27 spaces daily and is designed to stimulate and educate your child over for different areas in the nursery.
The first of these areas is our unique role play area which incorporates shops, post office, medieval castle and home corner. This area will excite your child's imagination skills, encourage their confidence and broaden their knowledge & understanding of the world around them.
The second room is the quiet, sensory area. This area includes tables & chairs with various pencil practice materials, a book corner with soft seating, a selection of quieter table top games, puzzles and activities such as threading & sewing to encourage fine manipulative skills.
The third room consists of a "construction area" for Lego, Meccano and other associated construction materials and a fine manipulative role-play area for the farm set, dolls house, train set and garage etc.
For children of all ages
We also have separate rooms for messy play activities. Your child will have fun creating their masterpieces in here, as they will have access to painting, modeling, sand, water & playdough etc.
Our new outside area with its all weather play equipment will not only develop your child's physical skills. They will learn about climate through our weather station and the environment & growing in the raised garden areas.
The nursery has new child size toilets and wash-hand basins to encourage independence and confidence.
